ROME: Forbidden Fights – Gladiators arrive at the Hippodrome of Lyon!

Calling all history buffs, spectacle lovers, and thrill-seekers! This summer, Lyon is preparing to take a leap 2,000 years back in time. The immersive show ROME: Forbidden Fights takes up residence at the Hippodrome de Lyon – Carré de Soie for two evenings that promise to be unforgettable. Forget the history books: here, you are plunged directly into the arena, into the heart of a night of glory, honor and survival where the fate of the combatants hangs by a single gesture from the public… and Caesar.

Between fierce gladiatorial combat, barbarian attacks, and theatrical twists, the meticulously crafted staging promises to keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The highlight of the show? A merciless final duel against the fearsome Lord of the Pits!

• A total Roman immersion: The journey begins at the entrance with access to a genuine historical Roman encampment.
• Breathtaking battles: Impressive choreography blending ancient fighting techniques and dramatic tension.

• Dates: Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July.
• Session times: At 6pm or 9pm (Show duration: approximately 60 minutes).
• Important : The experiment begins 90 minutes before the show Come early to enjoy the activities and the campsite.
• Place : Lyon Hippodrome – Carré de Soie (Vaulx-en-Velin).
• Age : Accessible to all, a perfect outing with family or friends.
• Accessibility: Please note, the site is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
