For the 2026 European Heritage Days, come and discover the’Saint Polycarp Church, an iconic building located halfway up the Croix-Rousse. Built in the 17th century for the Oratorians, this church is distinguished by its majestic classical façade completed in the 18th century and its rich interior heritage.
This guided tour will allow you to admire its remarkable architecture, its altarpiece, its paintings by masters as well as its historic organ by Augustin Zeiger, while discovering the key spiritual and social role that this church played with the silk workers' community.
