THE Hermès II Restaurant Boat is a floating restaurant in Lyon belonging to the fleet of The Lyon Boats. It offers gastronomic cruises on the Rhône and Saône rivers, providing a panoramic and gourmet discovery of the city of Lyon.
Cruises and gastronomy
On board the Hermès II, guests enjoy traditional French cuisine prepared on-site by a chef and his team. Three main menus are offered throughout the year:
- Sunday Brunch (approximately €69): sweet and savory buffet and culinary demonstration by the chef, while Lyon passes by on the water.
- Lunch cruise (approximately €65): a 2.5-hour tour combining gastronomy and views of the Confluence, Île Barbe and the districts listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
- Dinner cruise (from €75): romantic sunset cruise, Lyon illuminations and historical commentary in the background.
Onboard experience
The boat features an air-conditioned room, a panoramic terrace, and can accommodate up to 280 guests for meals, cocktails, or private events. The atmosphere combines refinement, relaxation, and cultural discovery, with the scenery changing with the flow of the two rivers.
