27 quai Saint-Antoine / 58 rue Mercière

You are in front of an exceptional architectural ensemble of the Presqu'île. The two 15th century access paths, under ribbed vaults and double arches decorated with grotesques, lead to a courtyard where a 16th century gallery with fine columns connects two 15th century buildings. One, on the rue Mercière side, was transformed in the 17th century. The Renaissance style well retains its shell and its lantern.

The two 15th-century staircase towers house remarkable spiral staircases, notably that of the hexagonal tower due to its size, while that of the round tower impresses with its magnificent columns. The façade on Rue Mercière, dating from 1654, reflects the 17th-century style.
