Guignol returns to Venissieux for a unique family show

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2026, THE A True Guignol Theatre settles in Windmill in Venissieux for an exceptional show. 100 years later, Guignol returns to meet the people of Venissieux for two 30-minute plays, accessible to the whole family.

On the program: The Fantastic Beast of Gévaudan And Guignol the dentist, Two classic Guignol puppet shows that will delight young and old alike. In the tradition of Lyon puppet theatre, this show promises laughter and good cheer, while reviving an intangible cultural heritage dear to the region.

A unique opportunity to (re)discover the world of Guignol, an emblematic character of Lyon's culture, in a friendly and festive setting.
