On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2026, THE CCO (Laboratory for Social and Cultural Innovation) And The Rayonne offer guided tours titled Living memories at the Silk Road. This event invites you to explore the TASE (Textiles Artificiels et Synthetiques Etablissements) industrial complex, an emblematic site of the working-class and industrial history of Villeurbanne.

During this visit, you will discover the emblematic sites of this industrial complex, a testament to the epic history of silk and synthetic textiles in the region. You will explore the TASE factory, the Autre Soie (an inclusive neighborhood), and the hedgehog park, while learning about the history of the women of TASE, their roles, and their collective and individual struggles. An immersion into the collective memory of the workers and the transformation of an industrial site into a vibrant cultural and social space.
