Its impressive baldrequin designed by Jacques-Germain Soufflot (the architect of the Pantheon in Paris and the Hôtel-Dieu in Lyon), its sculpted woodwork and its grandiose dome make this place an essential stop on your heritage tour of the Croix-Rousse hill.

Heritage Days 2026 Program

• Guided tour with commentary: Guided tour of the baroque architecture, the nave, the monks' choir and details of sacred art from the 17th and 18th centuries.
• Presentation of Soufflot's canopy: Explanation of the creation of this masterpiece of engineering and Baroque art.
