The Musée d’Art Contemporain de Lyon, located in the Cité Internationale district, is an emblematic place dedicated to contemporary artistic creation. The Musée d'Art Contemporain de Lyon, located in the Cité Internationale, was inaugurated in 1995. Designed by architect Renzo Piano, it offers approximately 3,000 m² of flexible exhibition space. The museum is distinguished by its temporary exhibitions of contemporary art and its permanent collection, which includes works by major figures in modern and contemporary art. It also hosts cultural events and various artistic performances, making it a dynamic center for contemporary art in Lyon.
