Sightseeing Tours
Since 1984, Les Bateaux Lyonnais has been transporting passengers along the two rivers that flow through the heart of Lyon. Offering six different boats, the smallest, the “St Jean,” accommodates up to 40 people and is ideal for a short one-hour excursion complete with cocktails.
Several options are available, such as the “discovery tour” which heads north along the Saône River to Île Barbe, a green oasis on the outskirts of the city. Or the “unusual tour” which highlights Lyon’s impressive architecture, offering views of the Notre-Dame de Fourvière Basilica during the journey through Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon).

You can also sail south along the Saône to the Musée de la Confluence, your ticket including priority access to the museum.
Gastronomic Cruises
The flagship of Bateaux Lyonnais, the “Hermès”, is the largest boat in the fleet. This magnificent floating restaurant is available for gourmet lunch and dinner cruises. Choose between a two-and-a-half-hour lunch or dinner excursion, or a five-hour lunch cruise.

The “Hermès” offers an “authentic menu” or a “gourmet menu,” both offering a choice of two main courses. Options also include a vegetarian menu, a children’s menu, and a special birthday menu.

The one-hour tours start from the landing stage located opposite 2 Quai des Célestins, Lyon 69002, on the left bank of the Saône, at the foot of the footbridge of the Palace of Justice.
