In this new creation, Mourad Merzouki explores the body in the face of time, offering a fresh and committed reflection on movement and physical performance. The dancers undergo a transformation through the use of artificial bodies, a constraint that provokes a completely different interpretation of movement. Prominent bodies, exaggerated gestures, and strong personalities give rise to burlesque situations, offering a new and offbeat perspective on choreographic performance. In a festive, open-air atmosphere, the electro-tango melodies of the duo Müller & Makaroff, co-founders of Gotan Project, bring a sunny aura to the choreography, making the bodies vibrate to captivating, universal rhythms. Old age can be the blissful abode where beauty resides!
