Choral singing workshop – MUSIC'LY Festival – Heritage Days 2026

Get started with choral singing in the unique setting of UCLy

On the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days and the 9th edition of the festival MUSIC'LY, The Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy) hosts the Centre de la Voix on the Saint-Paul Campus.

This introductory workshop invites you to share a warm musical moment and discover the practice of singing in a group. Guided by specialist instructors (including Tanguy Poble and Emmanuelle Halimi), this fun and vocal exchange takes place in the heart of this remarkable historical site, a former prison converted into a university.

Schedule (Saturday, September 19, 2026):
– 10:00 – 11:30 (Adult/teen choral singing from age 15 with Tanguy Poble)
– 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM (Children's choir, ages 7 to 12, with Emmanuelle Halimi)
– 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM (Children's choir, ages 3 to 6, with Emmanuelle Halimi)
