Parilly Racecourse
4-6 avenue Pierre-Mendes-France, 69500 Bron
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2026, L'’Parilly Racecourse opens its doors for an exceptional visit to its behind the scenes. Inaugurated on May 1, 1965, this racecourse is an emblematic place in the Lyon sporting and cultural landscape, nestled in a 35-hectare green setting.
This tour will take you behind the scenes to areas usually closed to the public: the stables, the stands, the restaurants, and the multi-purpose arenas. You'll learn about the inner workings of the racing scene, from preparing the horses to organizing the events. You'll also be able to appreciate the new grandstand areas, the result of renovations in 2012, which offer modern comfort while preserving the authentic atmosphere of the venue.
A unique opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes of this equestrian sports mecca, between tradition and modernity.
