Discover a jewel of Lyon's Baroque architecture

On the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days, the Chapel of the Trinity exceptionally opens its doors to the public to let you discover its history and exceptional architecture.

Built in the early 17th century by the Jesuits in the heart of the Presqu'île, this chapel is the very first Baroque building in Lyon. Classified as a Historical Monument in 1939 and magnificently restored in the late 1990s, it served for many years for worship, teaching and music before becoming a fully-fledged concert hall.

Today, it is supported by The Trinity (a scene of baroque and irregular music), the chapel welcomes you throughout the weekend to explore its sumptuous Carrara marble decorations, its trompe-l'oeil and its large nave.
