On the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days, the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon (Palais Saint-Pierre) is exceptionally opening its doors for a discovery of its exceptional collections. Housed in a former 17th-century Benedictine abbey, the museum contains 70 exhibition rooms retracing 5,000 years of art history.
From ancient Egypt to the masters of modern painting, via sculpture, art objects and ancient coins, come and explore a priceless artistic heritage in the heart of the Peninsula.
Access to the permanent collections is free throughout the Heritage Days weekend.
